Bowls England - Code of Conduct Dec 2024

Members are reminded that Bowls England have just published an updated Code of Conduct. This is attached here, and is on display in the clubhouse and will be on the website in due course. Please can all members read this carefully as it contains the information regarding the behaviour that is expected of members of affiliated clubs and the potential consequences if breaches of the code occur.

Catering Rota

Following a huge amount of work by Barry and Nicky Driscoll, please find attached the tea rota for the relevant fixtures this season. This will also be published in the clubhouse on various noticeboards. This is the first year that men have been included on the rota. This has already been sent to the members on the rota.

Please be aware that if you are not available for any of the teas that you have been scheduled for, please arrange your own swaps, update the main noticeboard copy and inform Nicky Driscoll. I cant emphasise enough how important it is to do that. Thank you to those members who supplied their preferences and holiday dates to enable this process to happen. The bar and housekeeping rotas will follow.

It looks like the annual spring/early summer A35 road closures are nearly on us again! Thanks to Alan Nabarro and John Sherring for the heads up on this. This will effect some away league matches as well as your own travel plans! Update attached.
